ABOUT THE ARTIST.
Make it Happen.

Introduced to music at a young age, Ahlyssa Mundy learned to play piano from her mother. She grew up as a dancer, competing at a high level in all disciplines. At 12 years old, she joined a youth theatre company where her love of singing and stage performance started.
Ahlyssa went on to audition for a performing arts High School, where she spent half of her day studying academics and the other half in dance and vocal classes. When she was suggested by her teacher to try private singing lessons, she was introduced into classical music and later, opera.
Her music studies only continued as she completed a Bachelors degree in musical Wilfrid Laurier University in 2017 and is currently completing her Masters degree in Voice and Opera performance. Ahlyssa has participated in summer opera programs in Canada, performing various scenes and aria concerts.
In her final year at RNCM, Ahlyssa had the pleasure of singing in many performances despite the lockdown restrictions. She was an art song soloist in the RNCM Thursday Late Series, was selected as part of the Hen’s Chorus in the socially distanced production of The Cunning Little Vixen, and cast in many different opera scenes ranging from Mozart to Strauss repertoire.
Over the last few years, Ahlyssa has sung in Masterclasses with well-renowned singers like Jane Archibald, Susan Bullock, Ben Hulett, Claron McFadden, and Sir Graham Vicks. She is so grateful for the many opportunities she has had to hone her craft.
Currently, Ahlyssa is studying singing privately and living in Manchester, UK.
